What is it?

Industrial HDPE pipes are polyethylene pressure or gravity lines used in factories, mines and utilities to convey process water, cooling water, slurries and compatible chemicals where PE is specified by the engineer.

HDPE is selected in industrial projects for chemical resistance, joint integrity and durability in corrosive soil. Bukan Pipe supplies industrial HDPE pipes in PE100 and other grades per project specification, with production up to 630 mm OD.

Technical specifications

Pipe typeSingle-wall HDPE extrusion
Maximum outside diameter630 mm (25 in) outside diameter
Material gradePE100 / PE80 per process specification
Chemical compatibilityProject-specific — confirm fluid and concentration with engineer
JointingButt fusion; electrofusion where access requires
Typical usesProcess water, cooling, slurry, industrial effluent transfer
ManufacturerBukan Pipe — Bukan, West Azerbaijan, Iran. Manufacturing since 1997.

Technical advantages

  • Corrosion resistance in aggressive soil and many industrial fluids
  • Fusion joints reduce leakage in long transfer runs
  • Abrasion resistance for slurry and mining applications
  • Lighter handling than steel on remote industrial sites

Typical applications

  • Process and cooling water lines in factories
  • Mining and mineral slurry transfer where PE is approved
  • Industrial effluent and compatible chemical transfer networks
  • Temporary bypass and plant expansion mains

Standards and project compliance

Fluid compatibility, pressure, temperature and anchoring must follow the process engineer's specification — not all chemicals are suitable for PE.

Quality control

Mechanical and dimensional QC aligned with other PE pipe families. Laboratory scope available on request.

FAQ

Is HDPE suitable for all industrial chemicals?
No. Chemical compatibility depends on concentration, temperature and exposure time. The process engineer must confirm suitability for each fluid.
When should PE100 be specified for industrial lines?
When higher MRS allows thinner wall or higher pressure at the same SDR — follow the project material specification.
