Where to start

Most enquiries that reach us are one of four cases. Pick your route:

• New to polyethylene: start with the pipe overview, then PE100
• You know what you want and need a number: go straight to the dimensions chart
• You are designing a line: estimate diameter with the calculator, then fix the class with the temperature and pressure guide
• You are building: read the installation guide, the welding guide and the air valve article

Three mistakes that cost the most

• Ordering on diameter alone, without SDR and material grade — one diameter covers several quite different products
• Selecting pressure class from ordinary working pressure instead of maximum pressure plus a surge allowance
• Ignoring the line's real temperature — the PN marked on the pipe applies at 20 °C
