Laboratory Test Catalogue
Every laboratory test with its purpose, method, duration, standard and acceptance criterion.
This is the Bukan Pipe laboratory's own catalogue of test services, which the laboratory named as its reference in October 2026. For each test it gives the purpose, a summary of the method, the usual turnaround, the method standard and the requirement the product standard sets. Fees and exact lead times depend on the sample and the conditions and are stated in the quotation.
The accreditation table (equipment range per test) is on the test scope page, and what to send with a sample is on the services page.

FAQ
- How long does the hydrostatic test take?
- 100 or 165 hours under constant pressure depending on the test condition, plus sample preparation and temperature conditioning. The pressure–time graph comes with the report.
- How much sample should I send?
- It depends on the test: three pipe pieces with a free length of three outside diameters for the hydrostatic test; a few tens of grams of granules or one pipe piece for the material tests (OIT, carbon black, MFR, density). Agree it with the laboratory before shipping.
- What do the tests cost?
- Fees depend on the test, the number of samples and the conditions and are given in the quotation; no price list is published on the site.
